چکیده

In the production of critical parts for various machines and mechanisms, expensive structural steels are used alloyed with chromium, nickel, molybdenum, vanadium. practice, wear resistance parts, especially under severe operating conditions, may be insufficient due to uneven microstructure content retained austenite. Therefore, increasing operational stability products made alloy is an important task. The purpose this work investigate effect isothermal hardening from intermediate (γ+α)-area duration deep cryogenic treatment on structure formation frictional 38CrNi3MoV steel. promotes required multiphase influence microhardness, amount austenite, fine parameters, friction steel established. Complex heat steel, according proposed mode, makes it possible achieve a significant decomposition austenite martensite, which leads increase in ~58%.

Comprehensive Analysis on the Effect of Deep Cryogenic Treatment on The Mechanical Behaviour of Martensitic Valve steel

The behaviour of the cryogenically treated En52 martensitic valve steel has been experimentally analyzed in this paper. Material samples are subjected to deep cryogenic treatment after completing the regular heat treatment. The critical properties of the valve steel like wear resistance, hardness, tensile strength and impact strength are evaluated for the cryo treated En52 valve steel samples a...

The effect of deep cryogenic treatment on mechanical properties of 80CrMo12 5 tool steel

Cryogenic treatment can be used as a supplemental treatment that is performed on some tool steels between quenching and tempering as an effective method for decreasing retained austenite and increasing wear resistance. In this research, the effect of deep cryogenic treatment (DCT) on dimensional stability and mechanical properties of 80CrMo12 5 tool steel was investigated. The martensitic trans...

Investigating the Effect of the Deep Cryogenic Heat Treatment on the Mechanical Properties and Corrosion Behavior of 1.2080 Tool Steel

Deep cryogenic heat treatment is assumed as a supplementary heat treatment performed on steels before the final tempering treatment to enhance the wear resistance and hardness of the steels. In this study, the effects of the deep cryogenic heat treatment on the wear behavior and corrosion resistance of the 1.2080 tool steel were studied using the wear testing machine and polarization and impeda...

THE EFFECT OF HEAT TREATMENT ON ABRASIVE WEAR RESISTANCE OF Fe-34Cr-4.5C%WT HARDFACING ALLOY

Abstract: Hardfacing is one of the most useful and economical ways to increase the service life of components subjected to abrasive wear. Iron based hardfacing alloys have long been considered as candidate coatings for wear-resistant applications in industry. In the present work two layer of Fe-34Cr-4.5C%wt hardfacing alloy was deposited on ASTM A36 carbon steel plates by SMAW method. The m...
